Many people, especially young people, often feel intimidated by the world of money and financial planning. But like it or not, our ability to earn, acquire, and manage money affects our lifestyle and the degree to which we can achieve our personal economic goals. Equipped with knowledge, skills, and experience, young people can begin to take more control over their personal financial affairs. They can set goals and start toward achieving those goals.

With generous support provided by Investors Group, CFEE has produced this publication to provide youth with information that will help them to better understand the world of money and enable them to begin to take more responsibility for their financial future. A 100-page Teacher's Guide has been developed to support teachers using Money and Youth with students. It is available on disk, or can be downloaded from the Members' section of this web site, so teachers can adapt, expand, and tailor it to individual preferences and needs.
